Every 2026-27 figure on pay-calculator.au traces back to one of the documents below. They are all free, public, and published by the ATO, the Fair Work Ombudsman or ASIC. This page lists each one with what it is and which parts of the site it feeds, so you can check any number here against its source. How those documents become the site’s figures is described on the methodology page.
Pay Calculator Australia is independent and has no affiliation with any of these bodies. The links go to their own websites.

Cross-checking
Moneysmart (ASIC)
The Australian Government’s consumer money site, run by ASIC. Used here as a cross-check on ATO figures and for consumer-facing explanations of super and salary packaging. Where Moneysmart lags the ATO after a rate change, which happens early in a financial year, the ATO figure wins and the conflict is noted in the research record.
